01Introduction
Helsinki offers rock pubs, dedicated concert clubs and broader cultural venues that book guitar music. The twenty-one current entries below distinguish a bar with a rock soundtrack from a room that needs a concert ticket. Henry’s Pub is included as a nearby food-and-drink option, with no promise of a rock show.
These entries were checked against venue websites and published programmes on 28 September 2026. This is research from public sources, not an account of personal visits. Event schedules can change; follow the official links for the night you plan to attend.

06Planning a Night Out
Start with a dated concert listing, then choose a nearby bar if you want another stop. Tavastia, Semifinal and Bar Loose provide central concert options; Lepakkomies and Kuudes Linja are useful programme checks around the Kallio and Sörnäinen circuit. Venues farther out, including Hard Rock House and Club Underground, are destinations to plan around a specific bill.
Check the organiser’s ticket page for doors, age limits, access arrangements and any separate club event. Ask the venue directly about accessibility if the published details do not answer your needs. This guide does not assume one door policy, price or closing time across Helsinki.
Oranssi is alcohol-free. Tiivistämö is a city youth-services event space. Both belong in a music itinerary for their programmes, with a different role from a pub.
