Rock Bar Legends is a guide to the best rock bars, city by city: where to go, what plays, when it opens and what the room is like.
WHO WRITES THIS
The city guides are written by Taro Schenker, a tour and artist manager. Years on the road meant nights off in unfamiliar cities, and the rock bar was always the first place to look for. That is where the interest came from.
WHERE THE DETAILS COME FROM
Each venue listing is compiled from the bar's own website and social pages, local press and listings sites, and, where we have spoken to them, the venue itself. The sources used for a listing are shown at the bottom of its page.
Listings the venue has checked carry a “Confirmed by the venue” badge with the date. Everything else is public information that we review when we update a city guide, so opening hours and event nights can lag. Check the bar's own channels before a special trip.
