Unlike DIY spaces that vanished, Warsaw survived by embracing its roots. Housed in the Polish National Home (built 1914), this community center moonlights as a 1,000-capacity rock club.
Famous for serving blintzes, kielbasa, and pierogies in the cafeteria adjacent to the mosh pit. Under chandeliers and ballroom decor, hosts major indie and punk acts: The Black Keys, Patti Smith, Jack White, LCD Soundsystem, Interpol. Renovated in 2022/2023 by Live Nation. Retains Polish heritage while functioning as one of few mid-sized North Brooklyn venues.
